Join Me For Dinner

When I arrived at work this morning, I saw this. Scary stuff right? I’m just glad no one got seriously injured. It didn’t effect our workday much, except for the fact that there were a lot more cars there than usual. Other than that, I am enjoying my LAST WEEK of work! I start school on Monday and won’t be able to drive out there after school. I can still work on off-days though, like institute days or whatever. All this work has totally paid off because in the next couple days I should be buying my Mac Laptop! I cannot tell you how excited I am for this, I have worked my butt off all summer for this.

But on to even more delicious things…

Yesterday’s dinner was so yummy. I made Crepes (recipe from V’Con) spread with a little Strawberry Preserves and some Hazelnut Butter. It was the perfect treat to cure my sweet tooth.

Tonight’s dinner was back to savory…Sweet P Fries, Kale Chips, Coconut Quinoa, and a huge gob of ketchup. Filling and scrumptious!

Sorry so short but I’ve got a couple things I need to do before bed…including a long shower. Marshmallow making is not the most glamorous job ;) ‘Night!

I just bought V'con! I can't wait to dive in and make something...those crepes look really good. I think that may be the first recipe that I whip up. I loved crepes before going vegan and have been craving them for a long time. Now I can have my crepes and eat them too! :)

Enjoy your last week of work! It sounds like you had a great summer there, and that's great that they'll let you continue working there when you have the time.

I can't believe it is back to school for everyone already!
