We Interrupt Your Scheduled Programming...

My post will be a little early tonight because I wanted to reveal the surprise...and I will be going out for my birthday dinner tonight. Full recap for sure! The surprise you ask? I was going to upload a video post but could not get it to work! Any advice? I'm taking the video with my camera but can't seem to upload it onto blogger. I'm so frustrated!!!

Now some daily eats:

Green Smoothie...
-frozen pineapple and strawberries
-1 scoop Sun Warrior Vanilla Protein
-water
-baby spinach
Pineapple and strawberry is one of my favorite fruit combinations. They just complement each other so well and are very refreshing.

Alongside my smoothie I had some Toast spread with Hazelnut Butter. The hazelnut butter was a little dry, but otherwise very flavorful. I could really taste the roasted flavor of the nuts and there was a very rich taste to it. Delicious of course!

For lunch I had a really Hugh Jass Salad! I'm talking monstrous! This was filled with...
-butter lettuce
-carrots
-broccoli
-beets
-raw corn
-Pizza Cheese
-cucumber
-homemade dijon dressing
It seriously took me about 45 minutes to eat! But it was so tasty that I kept wanting more (TWSS!). This didn't leave me too full, but rather very comfortable and satisfied.

Sorry for the short post, I hope to have a video up for you soon! Now I'm off to dinner, enjoy your evening!

I can't wait for the video post!

Great smoothie - I'm not sure if I have ever purposely mixed pineapple and strawberry. It sounds amazing now that you mention it!

Enjoy your dinner, birthday girl!

I made roasted pecan butter last night and it was really thick, so I used your idea on the addition of some almond milk and it was perfect! Love the salad...butter lettuce is my favorite and the raw corn is an amazing crunch on a salad! Have a great dinner!

lookingforserenity- I don't use vegan cheese because it is so processed but I really reccommend Teese by Chicago Soy Dairy. I actually work for the company and swear that it is very delicious!

I really like raw corn too. And I like how some of it stays in little chunks when you cut it. They look like mini computer keyboards, haha

Once again, happy birthday! =] The hazelnut butter sounds so goood...so far, cashew is my fave, but I haven't tried all of them yet. Your salads are always creative, haha.

The food looks delicious. Happy birthday! Hope you had an awesome birthday dinner :)

mariarose- I got the Hazelnut Butter at Whole Foods but you can also get it at futtersnutbutter.com

elise- I LOVE Sun Warrior and the price is so worth it! The thing is 2.2 lbs! It lasts me so long but if you are looking for cheaper, Jay Robb makes a delicious Vanilla Brown Rice protein that I may even like more than the Sun Warrior!

Ahhh, my birthday girl!! I gotta catch up on your older posts, promise i'll get to that soon!

But that GM sounds amazing. I gotta try adding pineapple soon! Boo, I only have 2 weeks left to blender it up. There is NO room for a blender in my sorority house kitch!
